Dean Dawson

“Hard to say what's right when all I wanna do is wrong.“

— Prince

While most knew him as the ‘Poster Child’ for Knight Industries’ Enforcer program, “Agent Slayer” wasn’t always an actor… let alone a hero. A decorated military veteran, Dean oversaw numerous topside salvage operations—successfully securing them from all manner of mutants and beasts imaginable. While his films quote such achievements as the story behind his callsign… they fail to mention his role as a Commissar, and his the merciless execution of several ‘would-be’ runaways.

That unquestioning loyalty, however, is exactly what made Dean the perfect candidate for what would later become known as the Enforcer program. Though you wouldn’t know it from his photos, Dean was 65 at the time of Mr. & Mrs. Knight’s death—his apparent immortality a side effect of the Eden drug trials. Having served the family for generations his insights were invaluable to the young Samara while she found herself inheriting the company prematurely.

Character Inspirations

“When asked what kind of character I’d like to make, I knew something Military-related could be a good fit. After settling on some of the plotlines, I immediately pictured something similar to Jamie Foxx in Jarhead—always demanding proficient execution from the platoon, seemingly without empathy or remorse. While that sort of character isn’t anything like me, the thing about acting is that you can be whoever you want to be… and the challenge is what makes it fun.”
